The Xtar VX4 v2 charger allows the user to manually select the charging current based on the number and type of batteries being charged.

For 1.5V Li-ion and 1.2V Ni-MH batteries, the charger always uses a 0.5A current; however, for 3.6/3.7V Li-ion and 3.2V LiFePO4 batteries, the user can choose from a wide range of charging currents:

1x 3A / 2x 2A / 4x 1A / 4x 0.5A / 4x 0.25A - ideal current for low-capacity batteries

To fully utilize the charger's current capabilities, a PD 20W compatible power adapter should be used.

The VX4 v2 will also work with lower-power adapters, though this will limit the ability to charge at higher currents.
