The SFP1-SM-LU module allows you to add a Gigabit Ethernet fiber-optic connection to a compatible device. With support for data rates up to 1.25 Gb/s, it can be used for communication between switches, routers, servers, and other network infrastructure components.

Classic two-fiber transmission
The SFP1-SM-LU uses separate fibers for transmitting and receiving data. This design provides classic, bidirectional fiber-optic transmission and makes it easy to determine the direction of each optical path.

The module operates with single-mode fiber (SMF) and uses a wavelength of 1310 nm. It is designed for standard point-to-point connections in ICT infrastructure.

LC Duplex Connector
The use of the Duplex LC connector ensures compliance with one of the most widely used standards in modern fiber-optic installations. The connector's compact size makes it easier to work with devices equipped with a large number of ports and helps keep the telecommunications cabinet organized.

Two separate fibers form a complete transmit-receive path. When connecting, ensure proper polarization so that the transmitter output of one module is connected to the receiver input of the other.

Range of up to 2, 10, or 20 km
The module is available in versions that support transmission distances of up to 2 km, 10 km, or 20 km. This allows you to choose a solution suitable for both connections within a large facility and routes between distant network points.

The up-to-2-km variant is suitable for shorter single-mode sections, while the 10-km and 20-km versions support more extensive connections. The selection of the appropriate range should take into account the length of the route, fiber attenuation, and other components of the optical path.
