Easy to install, easy to use

Using the phone can be truly enjoyable thanks to the convenient features of the Gigaset E290. It all starts with installation: Plug-and-Play technology means you do not need complicated configurations - simply unpack, connect and start talking. The matte surfaces on the sides of the handset provide a secure grip, while the intuitively designed menu makes the phone even easier to use. The large phonebook can store up to 150 contacts. You can also save up to 32 numbers on the blacklist and choose whether calls from these numbers are blocked or visually indicated (i.e. without ringing). Anonymous calls can be treated in the same way, so you are not disturbed by unwanted callers.

As loud and clear as you need

Thanks to adjustable call volume and a choice of different ringtones, you can flexibly adapt the Gigaset E290's audio features to your needs. The phone volume can be set to five different levels, and in some cases the volume boost function can be used to double the call volume during a conversation. Whether you are talking using the handset or in hands-free mode, you can rely on high-quality sound and particularly clear voice reproduction. Hearing aid compatibility and the ability to adjust the frequency range to suit the individual hearing capabilities of the person you are talking to make using the phone a pleasant experience for users of all ages.

ECO DECT for radiation-free calls

Like all Gigaset cordless phones, the E290 series features environmentally friendly ECO DECT technology. The phones are radiation-free in standby mode, even when using multiple handsets, provided that the base and all connected handsets support ECO DECT technology. During a call, the transmission power is automatically adjusted according to the distance between the handset and the base station. The shorter the distance from the base, the lower the transmission power. For maximum DECT range, ECO DECT mode can be switched off at any time.
